SUPERSTRUCTURES specializes in restoring both “skin” and “skeleton”—envelope and underlying structure. Buildings may be clad in a variety of materials, but parking structures are quintessential skeleton.
Our restorations of two White Plains parking garages for Cushman & Wakefield offer good case studies.
For one of the garages (a six-level, 367,610 square-foot structure with 1,296 parking spaces), restoration work included: concrete waffle slab repair; concrete patch repair; drain, expansion joint, and steel curb replacement; replacement of cracked masonry units; masonry repointing; and concrete coating.
For the second garage (a two-level, 76,128 square-foot structure with 400 parking spaces), restoration work included: asphaltic concrete ramp slab replacement; waterproofing installation; curb replacement; concrete waffle slab repair; and slab-on-grade repair and coating.
Our team of New York State professional engineers has years of experience identifying and remediating parking structure problems. It includes multiple Qualified Parking Structure Inspectors (QPSIs), a credential required for the assessments mandated under NYC’s Local Law 126.
Moreover, we offer a meticulous, strategic approach to maintaining parking structures to help keep owners ahead of the compliance curve.
