The Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium is one of the largest sports complexes within Nassau and Suffolk Counties. It is the main stadium for the State University of New York at Stony Brook. The south building at the facility provides offices, public restrooms, and locker, meeting, and storage rooms. Since construction was completed in 2003, the facility was found to have critical flaws in the waterproofing systems. The most affected areas are the plaza deck construction and lower portion of the bleachers. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation and and prepared construction documents.
