SUNY Maritime College is located at historic Fort Schuyler in Throggs Neck, New York. The campus dining hall serves the faculty, staff, and students who reside in 1,100 dorm rooms. SUPERSTRUCTURES was retained to provide design, and construction phase services for a 100% replacement of all window-wall and entrances in conformance with State of New York Construction Codes and ASHRAE standards. Also addressed were handicap accessibility, door replacements, loading dock restoration and sealant replacement. All materials were evaluated in accordance with U.S. Green Building Council in their Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) rating system.
