The Basic Sciences Building was constructed in the 1950s. Its roof totals 27,600 square feet over three levels. SUPERSTRUCTURES was retained to provide comprehensive investigation, design, and construction administration services for a roof replacement. Our Program Verification Report provided an overview of the existing roof condition, verified the scope of the roof replacement work, and provided recommendations and options for the roofing system and cost estimates for the proposed roof work. The report also included a summary of deficiencies of the roofing system; perimeter wall flashings, doors, and drains, as well as deficiencies involving the numerous and various mechanical penetrations on the roof.
