The Saint George's School Chapel was designed by Ralph Adams Cram in the Collegiate Gothic style. Since its completion in 1928, the chapel has experienced periods of moisture infiltration, resulting in various complications, including flooding of the crypt, historic limestone deterioration, pointing failures and buttress cracking. The program entailed the analysis of and recommended remediation for historic limestone and mortar fragmentation. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation and design services.
