SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design, and construction administration services to restore the facade and roof of NYU’s Rubin Residence Hall at 35 Fifth Avenue. The restoration scope included: removal and replacement of the roofing system at the penthouse terrace and annex roof; application of a protective coating system over the existing penthouse roof; door replacement; drain replacement; infill of slab opening with cast-in-place concrete; parapet reconstruction; stucco repairs; repair of existing steel railings; and structural steel repairs.
