The Robert J. Kibbee Library is an 8-story building constructed in 1976. The building is generally of steel construction with brick and curtain wall facades. The main roof membrane was single-ply PVC. The sloping roofs on the north and south have sheet metal standing seam construction. The project scope included roof replacement (with 2-ply SBS system), drain refurbishing, sheet metal roof repairs, roof railing coating, roof skylight repairs, perimeter flashing replacement and associated work. The project also involved facade repair, including replacement of spalled and cracked brick masonry, and lintel and spandrel repairs, concrete repairs, parapet coping cover replacement, etc. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design and construction administration services.
