Harlem Hospital's new Patient Pavilion is a 195,000-sq.-ft. 7-story facility. The building's most distinctive exterior feature is its curtain wall depicting a monumental reproduction of an original WPA-era mural. SUPERSTRUCTURES, under a task-order contract with DASNY, provided quality assurance inspections in accordance with the Special Inspection provisions of the NYC Building Code for all glass curtain walls. The scope of work included the monitoring of air and water infiltration testing as per ASTM Standards. Owner: New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation.
