The Creative Discovery Museum serves as an interactive, multi-disciplinary educational institution for children. The design consists of a rectilinear, 2-story structure housing most of the exhibit and support space, and two signature elements: a 6-story tower and a 3- story glass "wedge". The 75-foot science tower, a landmark on the city's skyline, features a spiral staircase leading to an observation deck. The 120-foot long glass wedge houses an interactive water sculpture from end to end. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided consulting structural engineering and construction administration services.
