Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is often used prior to probes and cores to avoid structural steel and live conduit. In the case of this closed hospital facility slated for demolition, core bit wear was the abatement contractor's concern. Fifty-four locations on five floors were scanned in two days. Similarly, SUPERSTRUCTURES has significantly reduced contractor labor time by using GPR mapping prior to drilling in cellars for injection waterproofing.
