These two multi-building public housing developments in the Broadway Triangle section of Brooklyn comprise eight- and seven-building complexes respectively. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design, and construction administration services to restore the buildings’ roofing systems and related rooftop structures. Restoration work included: concrete roof deck and vertical surface spall repairs; concrete parapet repairs, including coping restoration, interior concrete coating, and expansion joint replacement; and installation of a new liquid-applied roofing system, including flashing replacement or repairs and drain replacement. The project also included: coating of exposed steel shelf angles and lintels, side-mounted railing installation; bulkhead door frame, saddle, and hardware replacement; and door and window sealant replacement.
