The Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building is a 20-story tower built in 1970. The building facades combine limestone and granite cladding with aluminum and glass curtain walls. SUPERSTRUCTURES investigated the building facades from suspended scaffolding. A comprehensive report was issued with prioritized recommendations and detailed estimates. SUPERSTRUCTURES prepared construction documents for facade and curtain wall restoration, including the replacement of 1042 single glazed pivoting sashes with new thermally efficient windows and insulating glass. The firm also provided construction administration services.
