The Health Building was designed by Charles B. Meyers and completed in 1935. SUPERSTRUCTURES conducted a FISP Cycle 9 Critical Examination of the building’s envelope and provided design and construction administration services to repair unsafe and SWARMP conditions. The restoration scope included: removal and replacement of cracked masonry units; stone crack, spall, and mortar joint repair; stone pinning; stone corner reconstruction; re-securing stone sculpture; re-securing warped metal panels; door and window joint sealant repair; coping joint sealant repair; and metal frame joint sealant repair.
