Built on the site of the former Hippodrome Theater, this Midtown office building was completed in 1954, enlarged in the 60s, and reclad in 2005 with a steel-and-glass curtain wall system. SUPERSTRUCTURES conducted a facade restoration to remediate issues identified in FISP Cycle 8A. Cracked and spalled concrete and masonry was repaired, joint sealants were replaced, loose glazing gaskets were re-secured, and brick and CMU was repointed. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design, and construction administration services for this project.
