SUPERSTRUCTURES was retained to provide investigation, design, and construction administration for facade and roof repair at this 32-building complex. Facade restoration included exterior wythe reconstruction, chimney reconstruction, concrete coping replacement, lintel replacement, steel coating of exposed lintels, brick pointing, stone pointing, etc. Appproximately 4,900 distresses were studied and documented. The roofing scope included removal and replacement of existing roof systems on all of the buildings including membrane, insulation, flashings, etc. Also included were repair of roof decks, removal and replacement of masonry units, brick pointing, and installation of new roof perimeter railing/parapet.
