This 6-story residential building was built in the 1920s. An exterior restoration included replacement of brick masonry, repair of spalled stone, replacement of terra cotta units and recladding of the cornice. None of the original cornice remained except the wooden structure which had been covered with corrugated metal. A new cornice was designed based on a similar one in the neighborhood. Subsequently a historical photo was found revealing the new design was close to the original. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design and construction administration services.
