The roofing system of Teterboro’s Building 72 had reached the end of its expected service life and had failed, resulting in numerous water leaks into the building’s interior and large areas of ponding water. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design, and construction administration services to restore the roof. The project’s scope included: removal and replacement of the entire roofing system, complying with energy code requirements by using R-19 insulation; Remove and replacement of copings; patching and repairing metal deck where damaged; replacement of existing drain bodies; and replacement of base flashing and crickets at roof perimeters.
