SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design, and construction administration services to restore the exterior envelope and balconies of two buildings in this NYCHA development on the West side of Manhattan. The project’s scope included: removal and replacement of cracked masonry units; masonry re-pointing; repair of spalled concrete and deteriorated reinforcement of exterior spandrel beams and balconies; repair of spalled and cracked concrete; concrete coating; and replacement of existing balcony railings.
