One intriguing material we’ve been following:  concrete that can repair itself.  Briefly, this self-healing concrete uses an enzyme found in human red blood cells which reacts with CO² from the atmosphere to form calcium carbonate crystals, effectively “healing” cracks before they grow and lead to more widespread failure. Well, right now, we’re employing cutting-edge technologies for concrete restoration. We’re using 360-degree cameras, advanced optical and laser imaging, and proprietary software for evaluation and quantification of concrete deterioration and quality assurance during remediation.
