Ever since aerospace engineers and test pilots introduced the phrase “to push the envelope,” it’s come to stand for the cutting edge of advancement in many fields. For SUPERSTRUCTURES, the term is particularly appropriate because we’re focused on restoring building envelopes—and constantly innovating how we do it by improving client communications, refining construction documentation, and applying new technology to imaging, non-destructive testing, and project management.

So, with thanks (or apologies) to Chuck Yeager and company, we’re relaunching our News & Views page as a blog called “Pushing the Envelope,” representing our mission to advance the art and science of exterior restoration. Stay tuned for more updates on SUPERSTRUCTURES’ projects and perspectives on nearly 40 years of building envelope innovation.
