SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design, and construction administration services to restore the roof of this Continuing Education facility. The conditions report summarized deficiencies in the roofing systems, flashings, gutters, and downspout leaders. The restoration plan included: removal of the SPF roofing system, including all flashings and modified bitumen membrane patches down to the structural metal deck; repair of deteriorated sections of the deck; application of rust-inhibiting coating over surface-rusted sections of the deck; and installation of a new, insulated, single-ply PVC membrane roofing system simulating the appearance of a standing-seam sheet metal roof.
