Restoration is intrinsically disruptive. Fumes affect patient recuperation; vibration interferes with operatories and diagnostic equipment. We recognize that construction operations must be spatially contained, brief, and conform to an agreed-upon schedule. That’s why we emphasize thorough preparation - investigation, document preparation, and phasing of construction activities – as part of our design process, before a contractor gets on board.

Hospitals save lives. Funds diverted from this mission must be carefully allocated. It’s vital that construction documents be correct, clear, complete, and concise (the 4 C’s of the Construction Specification Institute) to minimize change orders and delays. Because change orders on our projects average below 5% (and sometimes 0%), we’re frequently engaged by most of the major hospital systems in the metropolitan area.
