Westchester One in White Plains was built in 1976 and is the oldest high-rise office building in the county. A stand-alone, 15-level, 1,800-space parking garage annex was constructed at the same time to serve the building’s tenants. As part of a capital campaign by new owners, SUPERSTRUCTURES was retained to perform an investigation and prepare construction documents for repair of the parking structure. Recommended work included patching and coating of existing pre-stressed, precast concrete slab panels with a cast-in-place topping slab. Structural steel framing was reinforced as required and then coated. Miscellaneous repairs to flashing, CMU stair towers, and exterior precast panels were completed.
