Building 215 at the John F. Kennedy International Airport was originally used as a jet-engine testing facility, but has now been converted to offices and storage space. SUPERSTRUCTURES was retained to design the replacement of the 20,000-square-foot roof using an SBS modified bituminous roofing system. A new drainage system was also designed to replace the original, inadequate one. The scope included parapet and coping restoration, replacement of deteriorated substrate, and new aluminum wall panels. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design, and construction administration services.
