The Times Square Hotel was built in the early 1920s and has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. The project involved the repair and replacement of a sidewalk vault along a 100-foot section of 8th Avenue and the western side of 43rd Street. Work entailed the replacement of the structural concrete slab, steel framing over the vaulted space and extensive relocation of utilities that were under the vault. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation and design, and construction administration services. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
