Built in 1885, the Old American Can Factory is made up of six buildings which currently house a wide range of designers, visual, performing and literary artists, as well as manufacturing companies. SUPERSTRUCTURES has been retained to provide investigation and design services for the facade of Building “D,” a loft building built ca. 1880. The scope of the work included extensive brick and stone masonry repair. Also included were fire escape anchorage repair, and coping and sill replacement.
