The Elmer Holmes Bobst Library (1973) was designed by Philip Johnson and Richard Foster. It is a 12 story building located at the southeast corner of Washington Square Park. The façade restoration program consisted of extensive cleaning, resetting existing stone panels, panel stabilization, repair of spalled stone, and stone crack repair. The scope of work also included stone joint re-pointing, encapsulating of stone and window joints and caulking at parapet coping joints. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided comprehensive investigation, design and construction administration services.
