SUPERSTRUCTURES was retained to investigate the condition of the roofing system on the south unit of Building 141 at JFK International Airport. Built in the 1960s, the south unit comprises two floors that span an area of 25,324 square feet and serves as an administrative building. The firm issued a comprehensive conditions report which addressed the deteriorated facade masonry, membrane roofing and parapet wall and included recommendations for restoration. SUPERSTRUCTURES subsequently prepared construction documents and provided construction administration services for the recommended scope of work.
